"These quotes exemplify a common attitude, especially prevalent in western society, that the big bad corporation deserves a little payback and should not pick on poor, helpless teenagers, students, seniors, etc. I call this the Robin Hood argument: Robin Hood isn’t a bad guy because his victims are rich and his beneficiaries are poor."

What?? That was NOT my point at all! The RIAA is not a corporation, it is an activist group allied with government agencies in order to enforce unjust regulations on poor college students. I am against the RIAA's strong-arm tactics because of that fact, not because they "represent" big corporations.

To be honest, your inference is kindof insulting. I am anti-corporations, but only because of the State support they receive in the form of laws and subsidies. I do know that people who work for corporations are people worthy of rights like everyone else.

PS Robin Hood was a good guy NOT because his victims were rich, but because his victims were State agents. There's a difference.
